04 February 2009 Eco-classroom is also a learning opportunity An Orton primary school is leading the way in the environmentally-friendly stakes, as a £1.3 million eco-project spearheaded by Peterborough City Council is completed. From a green roof and a ground-sourced heating system to solar panels and intelligent lighting, Orton Wistow Primary School's new five-classroom extension has made it the city's most technologically advanced eco-school.
