Sandwich Technology School flies the green flag
Sandwich Technology School's commitment to the environment has been recognised with the award of an International Eco-Schools Green Flag for a third time.

The flag is awarded to schools that show improving environmental performance both within the school and the wider community.

The Deal Road school is one among 1,615 others to gain the award out of the 16,696 that applied.

Eco-schools co-ordinator Susan Hibberd said: "We are very proud to have reached the Green Flag standard for the third time.

"The Flag is awarded on a biannual basis, so this recognises six years of continued work towards improving our environmental credentials."
