Cycle-Recycle Bicycle Generator
The Cycle-Recycle Bicycle Generator challenge uses a bicycle wired to an electricity generator to explain how the choices we make impact on our planet. Confused? Well, our new resource allows participants to compare the lifecycle of products made from raw materials with those made from recycled materials.

Still confused? Okay, imagine a bike, wired up to a generator, which allows you to compare the ecological footprint of a can made from recycled aluminium, with that of a can made from raw materials. Check out the giant photocards to explore the global chain of manufacturing, refinery and supply, before hopping on the bike to see if you can pedal fast enough to generate the amount of energy required for each process.
