10 May 2012 Surrey School honoured with award success A Surrey school has achieved an accolade for their environmental initiatives. Whyteleafe School, in Church Road, has again received the Green Flag Eco-Award Accreditation from the Department for Communities and Local Government. The accolade acknowledges a commitment to an environmentally-friendly school, including introducing energy-saving measures.
Writing in the school's newsletter, head teacher Anthony Marsh said: "Congratulations everyone and thank you for your hard work."
