Pupils planning a world of wonder in eco garden
Pupils have been working hard to develop gardens at Johnstown Primary School with help from the local B&Q superstore.

Children from the school visited the DIY store as part of a community event it was holding.

Teacher Teresa Brunt said: "We are an eco-school and are working towards gaining platinum status.

"B&Q have been generous in their support of the creation of our project at the school which has helped with the children's knowledge of environmental issues.

"Pupils who are eco-councillors have designed and are in the process of creating a 'world of wonder' garden.

Colin Roderkerkin at B&Q said the town branch has a long standing commitment to the school and has provided resources for this project and others at the school.
