Business Advisory Service Enhances the Eco-Schools Programme by helping schools save Money
Business Advisory Service (BAS) recently won the tender to be the main energy broker to the international award winning Eco-Schools programme.

Eco-Schools England is a rapidly growing sustainable programme that helps schools progress towards a more sustainable future. They guide schools on their sustainable journey, by providing a framework to help embed these principles into the heart of school life. By using the Contract Management Service offered by Business Advisory service, member schools can find they spend significantly less on their Gas and electricity contracts.

This gas and electricity contract management service includes: Energy Supply Negotiation, Assumptive Renewal Prevention, Multi-Site / Meter Management, Supplier and Billing Queries and Contract Renewal. Such a service normally costs business gas and business electricity customers 500.00 per year per organization. Business Advisory Service will add significant value to the Eco-Schools programme said Mark Read Business Development Director at Business Advisory Service. The schools can utilize this service for FREE and we will help them negotiate their energy contracts, offer them administration support and manage their termination notices. All of this could actually reduce their current gas and electricity spend by up to 70%! The impact of such savings on a schools budgetary bottom line means that money is freed up and subsequently spent on other areas.

The partnership is in place for the next 3 years and during that time Business Advisory Service expects to help save Eco-Schools members over 1.5 million in total.
