07 December 2011 Greenhouse was made out of recycled plastic bottles A greenhouse made entirely out of recycled plastic bottles won Lyndhurst Junior School the Care of the Environment category Youngsters at the school in Crofton Road, North End, Portsmouth, created the 8ftx6ft structure out of 1,500 two-litre bottles.
Teacher Marian Green said: This is a great achievement for the kids.
A lot of children took part and its something they enjoyed.
The greenhouse is at the Tuppenny Barn in Southbourne, which encourages recycling and growing organic fruit and vegetables.
