Schools pledge to new green plan
Camden schools took part in the first-ever Green schools summit on Wednesday, 3 November.

Pupils, teachers and Camden councillors came together to help improve schools energy efficiency, reduce their carbon footprints and save money.

Councillor Larraine, Revah, Cabinet Member for Children Schools and Families, said:

I was delighted to launch Camdens first Green schools summit. With so many schools taking part and committing to improving their energy efficiency, I hope we can make Camden an even greener, more sustainable borough and become a beacon council to the rest of the country.

The event included the launch of Camdens Sustainable schools guide, which includes advice for schools to improve their green credentials.
