08 March 2011 Sustainable Schools Celebrating 5 years of Spring Green Spring Green is the Architecture Centre's annual season exploring innovations in built environment sustainability. This year, the focus falls on schools - newly-built as part of the Building Schools for the Future programme, and how to bring existing building stock up to standard with the aim of meeting the Carbon Reduction Commitment. Featuring a range of exhibitions and events, the season will cover a wide range of subjects from sustainable school design and construction to maintenance and refurbishment, there will also be a major debate on the many complex issues that surround this subject bringing together all those involved, from designers to educationalists.
