11 January 2011 England's recycling rates are on the up We're recycling more than before, even though we're not producing more waste, according to the latest figures. England's rates for recycling, reuse and composting for 2009/10 have increased by 2.1% - though some councils saw much bigger rises than this.
Rugby achieved an 18.8% increase and South Oxfordshire managed 18.6% more than last year.
