01 November 2010 Black Country primary named UK's best Sustainable School A Black Country primary school with features including curved corridors, vivid colour schemes and an allotment has won a national Teaching Award. Crocketts Community School in Smethwick took the 2010 Department of Education Award for Sustainable Schools.
The school becomes the fourth primary school to win the award.
