09 July 2010 School's green credentials unfurled at eco-awareness day CHILDREN from Ilmington Primary School were among 90 pupils from local primary schools attending a eco-awareness day at Shipston High School earlier this week. The children took part in a variety of green workshops, including making bird boxes and making plant pots out of recycled newspaper. They also watched Shipston Mayor Simon Welch raise a new Eco School flag, which recognises the school's green credentials. Headteacher Jonathan Baker said: "We do recycling, composting and even supply our kitchen with home grown veg through our school gardening club."
