Drive to cut the use of packaging POWERS could be used to force retailers to cut back on their packaging and buy recycled goods.
Measures being considered by the Scottish Government include setting statutory targets on packaging reduction for retailers, as well as requiring them to provide information on the amount of packaging on goods being sold to customers.
