06 July 2009 Eco-school opens on Anglesey Green building techniques are at the heart of the design of a new school on the Welsh island of Anglesey. Ysgol Y Graig in Llangefni features a green roof, sustainable timber frame structure and on-site wind turbine and pv solar panels which are expected to generate enough electricity to meet around 50% of the school's needs.
